Resident '˜shaken' after Whitehead burglary

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at a house in the Islandmagee Road area of Whitehead on Saturday, April 16.

At approximately 10.15am, as the elderly occupant of the house was sitting in his living room, he heard a loud bang on his front door.

It is believed the intruder then rummaged through a bedroom before his living room door was then opened by an unknown person; no one entered the room. Nothing was stolen during the incident.

The occupant of the house was left very badly shaken.
