Residents' fund boosted by game between Carrick clubs

Footballers have provided a boost for the residents of a Carrickfergus care home.

Barn United and Carrick Rangers met in a pre-season friendly recently and donated half of the ticket proceeds to Carrickfegus Manor Residents’ Fund.

VIP for the day was Errol Murphy, who before moving to Carrickfergus Manor was secretary of Barn United Social Club. He was joined by representatives from the care home at the game.

Carrickfergus Manor extended thanks to the clubs for their generous support.
