Residents parking scheme
A RESIDENTS parking scheme planned for Londonderry may be in place by spring 2011 if the necessary funding is made available.
Roads Minister Conor Murphy said the planned scheme is the most advanced of a number in development outside Belfast.
He said: “My Department’s Roads Service has advised that a small number of schemes are currently being progressed outside Belfast, and the scheme within the City of Derry is at the most advanced stage. It is possible it may be in place by next Spring, subject to the availability of the necessary funding.”
