Retail body pays tribute to local MP
The Northern Ireland Independent Retail Trade Association (NIIRTA) has thanked East Antrim MP Sammy Wilson for his record of support for small businesses during his time as Finance Minister.
Mr Wilson stepped down from the role this week and has been replaced by Simon Hamilton MLA.
NIIRTA Chief Executive Glyn Roberts said: “Sammy Wilson leaves office with a strong of record of supporting independent retailers and small businesses in Northern Ireland.”
