“Rethink double yellow lines”
SDLP Councillor Dónal Cunningham has called for a rethink of double yellow lines opposite residential housing in Fairhill Street Ballycastle.
“Double yellow lines have been painted on a stretch of Fairhill Street where the houses have insufficient on-street parking. It isn’t clear what purpose the parking restrictions on the opposite side of the road are serving. Parking could be allowed on the stretch of road opposite the houses without causing any obstruction or interfering with other road users,” he said.
