Return of the sponsored marathon 24-hour swim

It has been quite some time since the club ran a 24-hour non-stop sponsored swim, but next Friday and Saturday around 170 children will rise to the challenge of the marathon event.

At 5pm on Friday, January 29, the participants will swim in relays continuously for a full 24 hours to raise much-needed funds for both the club itself and the RNLI as well as proving an excellent team-building effort.

Children from all abilities and backgrounds will take part and it is also expected that some parents, coaches and former Larne Junior Swimming Club members will make a big splash too.
