Returned for trial on assault charge
A 22-year-old man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court on charges involving burglary and assault.
Jordan Lee Hackett, Hill Street, Lurgan, appeared last Friday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.
The charges against him allege that on April 5 this year at Gilpin Mews he damaged a garden shed, stole a box of Guinness and a set of keys, entered a dwelling with intent to steal, assaulted a man and stole a lawnmower from a garden shed.
He was remanded in custody for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on January 21 next year.
