Reunion for Hilden School

FORMER pupils of Hilden Primary School are invited to attend a special reunion on Friday June 24 at 7pm, for a night of fun and reminiscence in The Hilden Brewery.

The school, which served the area for almost 100 years after it was opened for children of those who worked at Hilden Mill, was very much part of the fabric of the local community.

Now a reunion has been organised for past pupils to come together and enjoy spending an evening with old friends.

The evening will consist of a steak BBQ with all the trimmings, whilst there will be an alternative menu for non meat eaters.

The entertainment for the evening consists of live music by ‘Heartbeat Band’ plus ‘Memories Disco’.

This is a chance for all ex-pupils of any year to go along and meet up with friends.

Organisers also hope to contact as many Hilden School teachers as possible and invite them along on the night. Any former teachers would be very welcome guests.

Tickets priced £20 are available at Hilden Brewery and at Vincent Doran Butchers Shop and Mulhollands Shop (Supervalu) both on Grand Street on the Low Road, Lisburn.

The invitation extends to everyone, not just ex pupils of Hilden Primary School. Organisers hope to make a donation to a local children’s charity.
