Reward offered after pregnant horse is stolen from Crosskennan sanctuary

A spokesperson for the Antrim-based charity said: “At some point during the night, River (pictured above) was stolen from one of our fields.

“She was one of the recent rescues that we saved and is in the middle of a course of vital medication as well as being heavily pregnant.

“If you have any information or see any similar horses being offered for sale, please send us a screenshot to [email protected], or ring the PSNI on 101 quoting incident number 426 2/7/15.”

Volunteers at the sanctuary have clubbed together to offer a “large reward” for information leading to the safe return of River.
