Colette Fitzpatrick, who lives on the Banbridge Road, Dromore, is desperately hoping she can find little Scamp.

Scamp, a Minature Yorkshire Terrier, went missing on Halloween night (Saturday, October 31) after being spooked by fireworks.

He was last spotted at Supervalu on the Banbridge Road, Dromore at approximately 8.30pm, after being startled by fireworks when he had been let out by Colette to go to the toilet.

“He’d been put out as normal for a pee,” Colette said. “There is a sneaky place that he can get through the railings, although he usually wouldn’t, and he wouln’t go far if he did.

“He is a very timid dog and he must have been terrified, he must have literally bolted.

“I called out for him and we searched everywhere,” Colette explained.

“We looked in the development near us and then we spotted some young lads who said they had seen a wee dog running past Supervalu, but they couldn’t say for sure that it was him.

“We have had lots of messages and have checked them all out, but none were Scamp.

People have been wonderful, they’ve been so supportive, but nothing has brought him home.”

Colette has had Scamp since he was about 10 weeks old, and he is now over eight years old.

“He would’ve been terrified that night, God knows where he would have went.

“I’m just devastated after all this time,” Colette said.

Colette is now offering a £1,000 if she can be reunited with Scamp.

“I decided to raise the reward in the hopes I’ll have a better chance of finding Scamp, it’s my last hope.

Scamp is microchipped and is believed to have been wearing a blue collar.

He has a tooth missing at the front of his mouth.
