River Foyle film to premiere in London
The film is official selection at ‘We The Peoples Film Festival’ in London. The festival is organized by United Nations Associations, Westminster Branch.
‘Tides’ has just scooped its fourth award since its release, winning the Special Mention Award at the International Festival of Cinema ‘On The Road Film Festival’ in Rome.

Hide AdThe jury, who praised the film as “capable to investigate the theme of border in an unconventional and very poetic way”, praised Tides for “Best protagonist: the river.” The voice of the River Foyle is Northern Irish former drama student at Magee College - Emma Taylor.
Tides, directed by multi-award winning Italian Film Director Alessandro Negrini, is a dreamlike and visionary portrait of the River Foyle, where the story is narrated from the point of view of the river. The river becomes the protagonist, telling us us its autobiography.
The film recently won the Special Mention Award for Best Film at Milan International Film Festival, Best Cinematography Award at Sole Luna Film Festival in Palermo and Best Film Soundtrack at Treviso Doc Festival, receiving so far four awards and six nominations since its release last June.
