River House donates to #GivingTuesday

River House launched Causeway Volunteer Centre’s GivingTuesday appeal with a whopping 25 bags full of clothes, toys, books and shoes.

The donation will be given to local charity shops in the area.

“I’m delighted that Causeway Volunteer Centre took the initiative to encourage out tenants to contribute.

“They’ve made an impressive start and it’s not over yet; additional tenants have pledged to give even more on the run up to December 2.

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving, encourages people and businesses to give their time, money or voice to charity for one day.

Causeway Volunteer Centre has launched an appeal for people to clear out their closets and give local people a real gift in time for Christmas.

A spokesperson for Causeway Volunteer Centre told the Coleraine Times: “We are urging you to take a look around your home for items that you can donate.
