Riverdale disabled bay will return

The bay was taken away to facilitate a new electric vehicle charging post, but the Department of the Environment has confirmed that the bay will be reinstated at an alternate location in the car park.

The Roads Service has installed charging posts at Riverdale, Agnew Street car park and Circular Road car park in the town centre.

A total of six towns and cities in the province have been selected as locations for the initial batch of charging points, including Larne, Belfast, Londonderry, Newry, Armagh and Enniskillen. These were chosen because they are all major gateways into Northern Ireland.
