RNLI thank public after fundraisers
Portrush RNLI would like to thank Gerald McQuilken (Stepping Out Dance Company) for choosing them as one of the charities at his Strictly Come Dancing event which raised £1293.96 for Portrush RNLI.
Thanks to everyone involved in this for their time and effort to help raise this money. A big thank you also to everyone who turned out on the night. A special thank you is also extended to those who attended a pub quiz in Port Hotel. £326 was raised for the charity.
The RNLI relies solely on volunteers. In the UK last year they aided or rescued nearly 25,000 people.
