Road closure will continue until Saturday
POLICE in G District say a security alert at the Killanaught Road in Dungiven will result in access to the area being restricted until Saturday.
The alert began late on Tuesday evening.
Local sources have told the Sentinel that two men who were hunting, possibly illegally, in the area had their guns seized by masked men which sparked the alert.
Police said they were not currently in a position to comment on the speculation.
