The powerful road safety play '˜Driving Miss Maisy' will be revving up at two Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council venues on part of its regional tour.

The free short play is targeted at older road users and sympathetically highlights the effects ageing has on driving ability along with the importance of assessing your driving proficiency.

The first performance takes place in Portadown Town Hall on Tuesday 9th February at 11am with a second showing at 2.30pm. The next stop will be Ashgrove Community Centre on Wednesday 10th February at 2.30pm.

The performance lasts approximately 20 minutes and is an engaging and extremely effective way to deliver road safety messages. Refreshments will be available after the show.

Delivered by leading drama and arts organisation Beam Creative Network supported by the DOE Road Safety Grant, ‘Driving Miss Maisy’ will visit 26 locations throughout Northern Ireland.
