Road set to be closed in Ballyclare

Motorists have been advised to expect delays, as a road in Ballyclare is to be closed next week.

TransportNI confirmed the Ballycorr Road will be temporarily closed on Thursday, October 13. This will run from 9:30am until 4pm.

The road will be closed from its junction with the Ballyeaston Road to its junction with Church Road.

The road is being closed to facilitate tree cutting.

In a statement released by TransportNI, a number of alternative routes are listed. These are Ballyeaston Road, Lower Ballyboley Road and Church Road.

The statement adds that delays are expected to last “less than five minutes.”
