Road traffic collisions leave three injured

Three people have been taken to hospital in separate road traffic collisions in Carnlough and Islandmagee.

The latest incident occurred on Monday at Islandmagee’s Low Road just before 6.45pm. Two vehicles were involved and fire appliances from Whitehead and Larne attended.

Hydraulic cutting gear was used to release a 52-year-old man from a car. One man was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A serious collision involving a car and motorbike occurred on Carnlough’s Bay Road at around 9pm on July 21.

Two men were taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
