Robbers steal jewellery in raid
Robbers have stolen a substantial amount of jewellery from a well-known business woman in Castlederg, according to Derg UUP Councillor Derek Hussey.
He said: “Like many folk in our area I was appalled when news broke of the robbery that had been reported at a business premises immediately opposite my own business in Castlederg.”
He added: “I appreciate that the value of the items taken will not alone be of monetary value but also of sentimental worth to the owner as these will have been items collected and received over many years.”
