Robbery in Ballybogey Road area

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in the Ballybogey Road area of Ballymoney during the early hours of yesterday morning, Thursday 19 November.

It was reported that around 2am a man was sitting in his van when he was approached by a number of unknown males. They dragged the man out of the van before making off with a bag, containing his wallet and bank cards. The man suffered cuts to his face as a result of the incident.

Constable Evans is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident who has any information to contact officers in Coleraine Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
