Roddensvale pupils raise the roof at Larne Asda

asda in Larne joined forces with the staff and students of Roddensvale School to bring some early festive cheer with a special Christmas lights switch-on event.

Asda issued an invite to Roddensvale to come down to the store to officially switch on the lights of the 12-foot Christmas tree. The pupils had prepared a variety of Christmas songs to entertain the crowd and helped to get Asda’s customers into the Christmas spirit by teaching those who had gathered how to sign their favourite festive songs.

Parents and Asda colleagues fundraised throughout the morning to raise funds for the school and each pupil was given an Asda advent calendar to kick off the Christmas season.
