Roger and Val say massive thanks
ROGER and Val Denny hosted a Supper Party at the Old Rectory, Dunseverick to thank their helpers for their support at the car boot sales this year which have raised a total of £10,860 and to present a cheque for £6,500 to the Rev Colin Hall-Thompson, Chaplain to the Mission to Seafarers, Belfast.
This year marked the 150th Anniversary of the Missions work in Belfast. The balance of these moneys were given to the Samaritans (1260) Cystic Fibrosis (1600) Riding for the Disabled (1500). In addition to the car boots a coffee morning early in the year raised 3020 for the Haiti Disaster which sum together with a further amount of 1050 was given to Christian Aid making the overall total for 2010 14,930.
