ROI want toextradite six
JUSTICE Minister David Ford has revealed six people from Northern Ireland are wanted for crimes committed in the Republic of Ireland.
He made the revelation when asked by DUP MLA Lord Morrow why double killer John Gallagher was able to live freely in Strabane after absconding from the Central Mental Hospital in Dublin in 2000.
Mr Ford said six offenders are wanted south of the border stating: “I understand that there are currently six extradition warrants in train for the extradition of offenders from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland.”
