Roll up to Portrush this Good Friday

Open from 2pm until 10pm the event is suitable for all ages. Organised by National Minitrac in Portrush, visitors can expect trade stands from all the best known brands, including Britains, as well as Universal Hobbies, Repliagro, Ros, Siku, Marge Models and more.

The hand-finished muddy show tractors from Muddyfarm Models are always a highlight of this exciting event, and 25 limited edition John Deere 6125R Show Tractors with front loaders have been created to mark the Show. Sure to be collectible items, the tractors are based on a Britains 1:32 scale model and have been expertly prepared by Muddyfarm Models to give an authentic working look.

There’s also an auction for a one off 1:32 scale white Fendt tractor specially prepared by Hugh Barr of Goldplough Farm Models from Aghadowey. The raffles have a top prize of a 1:16 scale International 1455XL tractor produced by Universal Hobbies worth around £120. All proceeds from these will go to Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke William Walker Living Oak Fund.

With nothing else like it in the area, the Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show is a unique miniature agricultural show which appeals to both young and old alike. Offering fun for all the family, there’s a play zone for the kids, while adults can view everything from solar panels and 4wd vehicles, to drones, dvds, clothing, crafts and giftware. There will also be some small farm displays. Alongside all the tractors are lorries from Corgi and WSI as well as rally cars and other vehicles.

The Show organisers are delighted to announce that there will be a number of stalls displaying and selling their locally produced craft products. Kisoarts from Portrush specialise in traditional and contemporary Irish art offering greetings cards, prints and commissioned pieces. Kisoarts founder Janet Millar will be available to discuss her work from one off bespoke pieces to group workshops.

Northwest Driftwood from Limavady will be offering locally sourced driftwood that is crafted and designed into beautiful and bespoke pieces for the home or as gifts. The business also produces custom pieces to order.

Joanne Cathers from Drumnakilly Supplies in Omagh will have a marvellous range of Himalayan Rock Salt ornaments and lamps which are sure to appeal to a wide range of buyers.

From local craft outlet No. 4 Queen Street in Coleraine; Marion Coupe will be showing some of the extensive range of local craft products showcased and sold at her shop.

With the strong emphasis on local crafts there is sure to be something of a crafty appeal just waiting to be discovered at the Portrush show.
