Ross tops MLA table

EAST Antrim MLA Alastair Ross has once again been named as having one of the best voting records at the Northern Ireland Assembly.

The figures for the last Assembly term have been published and confirm that Mr Ross shares the top voting record of 97 per cent along with DUP colleagues Peter Weir, Alan Bresland, Jimmy Spratt and SDLP MLA Patsy McGlone.

The Assemblyman said: “It is pleasing on a personal level to once again top the list, but even more important is the fact that the DUP have again came out on top as the party with the best voting record in the Assembly. This shows the electorate that we are serious about giving strong representation and ensuring that their voice is heard in the Assembly.”
