Rotary bids ‘Good Morning Ballycastle’

AS part of its inaugural programme of events the Rotary Club of Ballycastle will be hosting a charity breakfast in aid of the ‘Good Morning Ballycastle’ Support Scheme.

With an underlying ethos of charitable work, encapsulated by the motto ‘Service above self’, Rotary embraces men and women from all walks of life who share a common interest in helping others.

Each member enjoys business as well as social networking opportunities while contributing to society both locally and internationally and of course having a lot of fun in the process.

Just recently established as Ireland’s 75th and newest club, Ballycastle Rotary members are keen to put their talents to good use and in ‘Good Morning Ballycastle’ an ideal opportunity exists to both raise the club’s profile and more importantly assist with the very worthy work carried out under the auspices of Ballycastle Church Action.

All monies raised from the charity breakfast will help fund a vital outreach service, providing care and support to the elderly, vulnerable and incapacitated in Moyle.

Good Morning volunteers give selflessly of their time and expertise, so it is with this in mind that Rotary invites all community members to give a little of their time (and money!) and join them on Saturday 16th April between 8am and 11am in the Central Wine Bar, Ann Street, Ballycastle.

Donations of £10 per adult and £5 per child will ensure patrons enjoy a full breakfast kindly prepared and served by the Central proprietors Philip and Gemma McHenry and their staff.

Ballycastle Rotary club looks forward to welcoming you on 16th April where you will learn first hand the work of both organisations whilst savouring the most important meal of the day!
