ROUND-UP: Ballymoney police notes

ALLEGED ASSAULT: Police in Ballymoney are appealing for information about an alleged assault in Main Street, Ballymoney, last Wednesday evening around 7.30pm. A police spokesman said the alleged incident took place in an entry and added that a numer of people both male and female were involved.

FIREWORK SEIZED: Police have recovered a firework from a house in the Glebeside area of Ballymoney. The discovery was made on Thursday afternoon last.

A spokesperson said the incident was another reminder of the legality of fireworks and reiterated that a licence was required. He also warned of the dangers of fireworks.

BICYCLE STOLEN: The theft of a grey/silver coloured mountain bike from a communal hallway in John Street sometime between 4pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday is being investigated by police. The bicycle had been secured by a chain and the chain was also stolen. Anyone who may have seen the bicycle should contact local police.

FEMALE ARRESTED: A 22-year-old female was arrested in Rasharkin on Sunday night for alleged breach of a non-molestation order and common assault, police in Ballymoney have revealed.
