Royal approval for Armoy schoolchildren

CHILDREN in Armoy have received Royal approval!

Youngsters connected with the 2-3 Club at Armoy Primary School made and posted cards to the Queen to congratulate her on her Diamond Jubilee and they were thrilled when a response came back from Buckingham Palace.

School Principal Julie Neill said: “We have a club called the 2-3 Club which made and posted cards to the Queen to congratulate her on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee. The children, who are made up from P1, 2 & 3, were very excited when they received a card from Buckingham Palace thanking them for their words of loyalty and support.

“The children were delighted! The adults were pleased too. Mrs Suzanne Reynolds, who organises the club, thought it was important that the children were aware of the Jubilee celebrations and felt it should be recognised by the school and the children.”
