Royal Mail's extended hours for Christmas period in Londonderry

THE Royal Mail in Londonderry has announced that it will be extending its enquiry times over the Christmas period.

An estimated 165 million items have been ordered online as result the Royal mail will be extending their main Enquiry Office open hours in Londonderry.

Royal Mail's Enquiry Office located at 15-21 Great James Street will be operating at the following times.

Monday 13 – Friday Dec 17: 6.30am – 7.30pm

Saturday Dec 18: 6.30am – 5.30pm

Monday 20 – Thursday Dec 23: 6.30am – 7.30pm

Friday December 24: 6.30am – 5.00pm

Customers can also arrange redeliveries of items to their home address or to a neighbour in the normal way via www.royalmail.com/redelivery or ask for items to be taken to a Post Office branch, through a service called Local Collect.

Extended opening hours only apply to Royal Mail Delivery Offices in main towns throughout Northern Ireland. Smaller towns with postal operations located within a Post Office branch will operate their normal hours.
