Royal Scottish Dance Society ceilidh in Coleraine Town Hall

The Portrush Branch of the Royal Scottish Dance Society (RSDS) is celebrating its 60th anniversary on Friday, May 4 with a ceilidh in Coleraine Town Hall at 8pm.

The popular Iain Muir Band will be keeping the dancers in step and providing a few songs while they recover their breath. Evelyn Redmond will be calling the dances so prior knowledge is not required.

This is the last year for the Branch’s Chairperson, Patricia Lowther who is retiring after a long innings. Patricia has been a dancer, teacher and an inspiration to the Branch and hopes to see a good turn-out of former pupils for her farewell gathering.

Young, old, stiff and sprightly are all welcome for a Scottish celebration to be remembered.
