RPSI ‘thank-you’ to two key funders
The role played by two organisations in helping to preserve steam transport for future generations has been acknowledged by the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland.
It organised a thank-you event at its Whitehead facility on Wednesday (March 18) to express appreciation to key funders, GROW South Antrim and Carrickfergus Borough Council.
Both Grow and the local government authority are winding down at the end of this month and RPSI was keen to mark the contribution they have made to ongoing development at the Excursion Station.
