Around 50 people from Monreagh will travel to Dublin for this quite unique opportunity, which will let people across Ireland recall the pain and sacrifice of Irish people during a dark period in history that claimed the lives of millions worldwide.

A central component of the service will be An Act Of Remembrance, involving the laying of a poppy wreath during which Monreagh piper David Middleton will play laments.
