Rural Oscar winners to receive letter

A letter of congratulations is to be forwarded by Ballymoney Borough Council to Cloughmills Community Action Team who have been recognised as Ireland champions in the Enterprise category of the Countryside Alliance Awards also known as the Rural Oscars.

The awards are organised on a regional basis around the UK and Ireland. Regional champions from ten areas across the UK were involved and Cloughmills CAT went on to a major celebration at the House of Lords where the overall winners in each category were presented with the awards.

Although not declared overall winners, Cloughmills CAT were joint highly commended which meant they finished in the top three rural enterprises in the UK and Ireland.
