'Sad reflection of our society': Allister
TUV Leader Jim Allister has hit out at those 'who so malevolently and deliberately destroyed' the Community Rescue Service bus in Ballymoney.
In a statement to the Times, TUV Leader Jim Allister said: "Those who so malevolently and deliberately destroyed the rescue bus demonstrated not only their own depravity but utter disrespect for a family and community who strove so hard to create a positive legacy out of the Elliott drowning tragedy.
“The contrast could not be greater between the giving and loving spirit of those who provided the rescue bus and those who so maliciously destroyed it. I trust they will be swiftly apprehended and face the full rigour of the law.
"It is a sad reflection of our society that there are those prepared to stoop so low."
