Safety fears at Coast Road junction

Coast Road councillor James McKeown has asked DRD Roads Service to examine what he considers to be a “risky” junction.

The Sinn Fein representative said motorists entering the Coast Road from the Drumnagreagh Road do so at great risk.

“They have to actually drive on to the main road just to get a clear view of traffic coming from the right,” he explained.

“It is a matter of time before we have an accident,” said Cllr McKeown, who added that he will ask for a site meeting with Roads Service officials.
