Safety measures at Raloo crossroads
East Antrim MLA Roy Beggs has welcomed a commitment by Transport NI to provide enhancements to existing signage and road markings in Raloo.
The UUP representative said: “Cars frequently failed to stop at the crossroads, particularly when travelling from the Ballyfore Road direction along the Crosshill Road to the Tureagh Road junction. The scheduled works will make the crossroads a safer place for all.”
However, he also spoke of his disappointment that his request for anti-slip surfacing to be added at the crossroads in the village has not been acted upon.
