“I hope the facilities will be well used by the children in the Poleglass area and that they really enjoy the park, which has been fitted out with the latest play equipment to state-of-the-art standards. The car park at Sally Gardens was also extended as part of this capital project, ensuring that people visiting the park and the centre have more space.”

Councillor Beckett said; “The Council has invested in many play areas over the past couple of years and we are delighted to see the enjoyment of the children using the park today,” he concluded.

Elected members, including those from the Dunmurry Cross area were also in attendance and the Council was delighted to welcome Mr Brian McAlea, St Kieran’s Primary School Principal to the official opening.
