Santa set to arrive at Dobbies

THE sound of sleigh bells will be heard in Lisburn as Santa’s helpers at Dobbies Garden World are gearing up for the most magical event of the year – Santa’s Arrival this Saturday, November 19, at 11.30am

Santa will arrive in style by sleigh and lead a spectacular parade that will amaze and delight children incorporating Dobbies Little Seedlings Club, festive characters, live community music and performances.

This year Dobbies Garden Centres is supporting Action for Children, a charity which helps and speaks out for the UK’s most vulnerable and neglected children and young people.

Children supported by Action for Children’s Ballymote Family Project will be arriving with Santa at Dobbies. The project provides a range of services for disadvantaged children under four and their families..

All customers can help make a difference to Action for Children by making their own festive wish or leaving a seasonal message on Dobbies’ Wish Tree for a minimum £1 donation in-store.

Stephen Gibson, Dobbies general manager, said, “Santa’s arrival is the biggest date in our events calendar and is fantastic fun for all the family. It is great to see the children’s faces light up when they see Santa arrive in style at Dobbies at this wonderful time of year.”

After the parade Santa will merrily be ho-ho-hosting his traditional grotto and will reside there up until Christmas Eve.
