Save the Children coffee party

THE members of the Ballymoney Branch of Save The Children are pleased to announce that they will be hosting their annual coffee party on October 19 in First Ballymoney Presbyterian Church Hall.

As usual, there will be a morning event serving coffee, tea, scones and traybakes. There will also be an opportunity to purchase your Christmas cards, wrapping paper and some small gifts from the charity’s catalogue as well as some home made cakes, jams, scones and pancakes from the Produce Stall.

And for the evening event, members are delighted to day that, once again, Winnie Mellet and her models will bring guests up to date with the latest fashions.

The work of Save the Children continues unabated in countries all around the world. Two areas in particular have recently become major concerns for the charity - Pakistan and Niger.

That is why a decision was taken to direct the proceeds of the coffee party to these two countries, and members are relying on people’s unfailing generosity to make this another successful fundraisier.

Members look forward to seeing old and new friends on October 19 either in the morning from 10am until 12noon or the evening from 7pm until 9pm.
