Scam letter from Africa

The recipient reported to police on October 14 that they were asked to pass on bank details to the writer and told that money would then be passed into the account.

"These letters are a scam," warns Sergeant Clive Elliott, who added: “Do not pass confidential information on".

Police have asked for people who may have received any letters of the same nature, asking for confidential information, to report the matters to them.
