Scarva Primary School pupils take on a Five Star sporting challenge

PUPILS at Scarva Primary School recently took part in an event of Olympic proportions.

The Five Star Disability Sports Challenge saw the schoolchildren take part in a range of disability sports challenged in an initiative hoping to contribute to the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Scarva pupils were among 100 schools across Northern Ireland to take part in the event which aims to inspire and encourage more disable and non-disabled children to become active in sport.
