Scarva transport issues
Councillor John Hanna highlighted the need for a Park and Ride facility at Scarva Halt Railway Station at the November meeting of Banbridge District Council.
Councillor Hanna said, in his opinion, such a facility would help alleviate traffic congestion and encourage visitors to spend more time enjoying what the village has to offer.
Meanwhile, Councillor David Herron expressed his disappointment after concerns over parked cars in Scarva were brought before the PCSP.

Hide AdHe added that concerts at Scarva Bandstand are a proven success. During discussions at the PCSP meeting, members including the PSNI, agreed no action should be taken as the bandstand is only used a few months a year.
