School dinners, Jackman and Pye style!

The sense of anticipation in the school has only grown since initial menus from Jackman and Pye wine bar, which is situated on Portrush’s Main Street, were made available prior to the start of the new term.

From Bang Bang Chicken to Rump Steak Burgers, Chicken Spaghetti Carbonara to Homemade Lasagne, the choice really wets the appetite.

There are also plans to further develop the school’s practical catering and cookery classes, allowing pupils to gain skills in a professional kitchen from some of the area’s top chefs as well as school Christmas dinners to be served in Jackman & Pye restaurant itself.

Food has never been more appetising for Mill Strand!

Jackman and Pye, which was opened in June 2012, is run by Sean McIlroy and Johnny Jackman and has earned rave reviews for its food, particularly fish and vegetarian options.

Regrettably, despite initial enquiries, orders cannot be taken for parents’ meals!
