Local school girl Katie Low recently had her hair cut at Pop Hair and Beauty salon, in Lisburn and has donated it to The Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children suffering from hair loss.

As well as Katie bravely donating her hair, all of the staff in the salon donated their takings from that day to the charity. The Co-op on Longstone Street donated refreshments, and Mr Thom’s Restaurant donated food for clients on the day.

The Little Princess Trust was launched in 2006 and since its inception, the charity has helped thousands of boys and girls.
