School passed
LURGAN College has been given the thumbs up to build a new school - by the Planning Service at least.
With the plans still tied up by the Department of Education, planning permission was granted at this Monday’s council meeting to build a new school and demolish the existing buildings with the exception of the old part of the school which is a listed building.
There was one letter of objection received.
