School safer surfing session

CHILDREN from Moyle and St MacNissi's primary schools had a lesson in online safety on Tuesday - EU Safer Internet Day.

Constable Davy Hill from Larne police and Jacinta Flanagan from Microsoft spoke to P7 pupils about how to keep themselves and their friends safe while making the most of internet technology.

Constable Hill said: “Nearly all children are now chatting online either on computer, XBOX 360 or Playstation 3 and it is very important to ensure that they know how to stay safe online”.
