Schools enjoy cross culturalprogramme of dance and music

PUPILS from three schools have taken part in a cross cultural programme delivered by the All Set Project.

Facilitators and artists, Mary Fox, Ian Carmicheal and Len Graham, led the children from St Anthony’s, Moyallon and Ceara through a programme of dance, song and music on the tin whistle.

A final performance took place at Ceara and was attended by families attached to the three schools.

The pupils learned about old dances which have similarities in Scotland and Northern Ireland. They gained new skills in music within a short period and learned a traditional song.

The parents experienced a great performance from the pupils and also took part in the dancing alongside their children.
