Schools take part in mural project

PUPILS from two Coleraine schools got a chance to show off their artistic flair thanks to a Education Community Project.

The pupils from North Coast Integrated College and Coleraine College spent a day brain storming at Flowerfield before returning to their schools to work on a mural.

Charlie Smyth, a local Community Artist then facilitated weekly sessions in each of the school, developing their ideas and artistic skills.

Last week, the two schools got together again to have a look at their art work.

Lorna Gough CECP worker would like to thank the guest speakers and all involved for making this such a special event for the schools. This project was supported by NEELB and funded by DSD.
