Score a try for a good cause
THE Irish Rugby Football Union is calling on 'tag teams' of action men and women from across the province to help them raise funds by taking part in their summer charity Tag Rugby tournament.
The tournament, sponsored by McClearlys residential estate agents, will take place at The Pavilion, Stormont on Sunday, August 29 from 11am and is open to both men and women with anything between 7 to 12 players per team. A maximum of 20 teams will battle it out to claim the title of ‘IRFU Charity Tag Team 2010’. Men and women aged 16 and above are all encouraged to participate and the usual tag rules will apply.
Spectators are encouraged to come along on the day and join in the fun.
