Scouts back

Ballintoy and Dunseverick Scouts will be returning in September after a first season.

The group meets on Friday evenings from 7:30pm to 9pm in Ballintoy Parish Hall or perferably outdoors. The Scouts are open to boys and girls from the age of 10 and a half upwards.

Toddler groups

THE Billy and Derrykeighan parishes Parent and Toddler group, Colman’s Kidz, will resume on Tuesday 4 September, it has been announced.

The group meets every Tuesday morning between 10am to 11:30am during term time in the Allen and Adair Hall.

The cost is £2 per family and a snack is included.

All pre-schoolers are welcome along with parents or grandparents.

Meanwhile Mount Druid Parent and Toddler Group of Dunseverick Parish is taking a break during July and August but will return in September.

Womens’

Fellowship

The opening meeting for the new year Women Fellowship will be held at Ramoan and Culfeightrin on Wednesday 19th September at 8pm in Trinity Cottage where the supper and entertainment will be provided.

Mothers Unions

THE Mothers Unions new office bearers and committee will be enrolled at the Holy Communion Service in St James on the morning of 16th September. Hopefully all the members will be able to attend.

Smiles

Foundation

On Sunday 9th September, following the great support he revived from both parishes, Steve McKeeman will be telling of his Romanian experience during both morning services. There will be retiring collection the following Monday for the smiles foundation.

Billy Open Day

As part of the European heritage weekend Billy Church will be open on Saturday 8thSeptemberr from 11.00 to 5.00pm. Refreshment will be served in the church hall.

All visitors are welcome. The old rectory gardens will also be open to the public.

Derrykeighan Harvest Tea

The ladiess Guild invites you to the Allenn and Adair Hall for afternoon tea on Thursday 27th September from 2pm to 5pm al proceeds to the Building Fund.
